Basic Info Biostudies: linguistics & literature

This is the place where I get overly excited over books, manga, games and tv shows.
There's occasional drawing and writing, and I regularly post picspams and icons.
This journal is 90% in English, and 90% friends-locked.
What you will find in my journal if you decide to friend me:
Excessive fangirling (that's what they invented LJ for? Right? RIGHT? :D) about the above mentioned stuff (atm mostly related to Doctor Who (old & classic) and whatever I happen to be reading -> see the big reading list in my Link section :D ). You'll hardly find me posting about my real life (what does that even mean? Is part of my life unreal? Am I unreal? Is there nothing to my online existence? Should I dwell in existential angst?) except for small vanities, life with cats or university classes, as anything else would most probably bore you to death --
and I'm not exactly comfortable with the concept of a PUBLIC diary.
note: if you decide to friend me, it'd be lovely if you could leave a note telling me why you're friending me, otherwise I'll just assume you're here for icons (which is great, too, :D) and not friend you back.
